In January 2017, MPHA once again signed on to the Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate letter to Minnesota's Legislators. The letter draws attention to three issues:
- the importance of building on recent progress in reducing carbon emissions and pollution;
- the dangers of natural gas as a bridging fuel while phasing out coal; and
- the need to protect our most vulnerable communities from the impacts of our changing environment.
