Tobacco Control Enforcement for Racial Equity Endorsements as of 11/10/20

MPHA was proud to join endorse Decriminalizing Commercial Tobacco: Addressing Systemic Racism in the Enforcement of Commercial Tobacco Control” statement of principles on Sept. 30, 2020.


This joint statement was developed by a consortium of over 40 public health organizations to help local and state health departments, decision makers, advocates, and other stakeholders advance equitable enforcement practices related to the purchase, possession, sale, and distribution of all commercial tobacco products.
