2013 to 2014 Policy Forum Series: A Community of Caregiving

Breakfast and registration begin at 7:00am. Each forum begins promptly at 7:30am and concludes at 9:00am.

Friday, November 8th, 2013 -- A Community of Caregiving: For the Children

Panelists and forum participants explored the caring needs of the youngest among us. Issues included child-care, safety, equity and the changing needs of families.

January 10th, 2014 -- A Community of Caregiving: For Aging Parents

Panelists and forum participants focused their discussion on aging in place, geriatric medicine, health equity for elder care, and support networks for families.

March 7th, 2014 -- A Community of Caregiving: For Kinship & Grandparenting Roles

Panelists and participants discussed issues related to caregiving by relatives due to illness, death or incarceration.

May 9th, 2014-- A Community of Caregiving: For the Silver Tsunami

The last forum explored the caregiving demands and roles of an aging middle generation. What will and should the "baby boomers" expect for services, health equity, and community design?
