This continuing education program focuses on the improvement of maternal and infant health through the delivery of risk-appropriate high-quality nutrition services. It is designed for dietitians, nutritionists, certified nurse midwives, registered nurses and nurse practitioners, physicians and public health professionals who serve preconceptual, pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women.
The National Maternal Nutrition Intensive course is being held October 8 to October 10, 2014 at the University of Minnesota, Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs-Cowles Auditorium, 301 19th Ave S. The registration fee includes program sessions, materials, refreshment breaks and continuing education certificate for up to 13.5 contact hours of professional continuing education or Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Single day registration is available and students may register for the entire conference at a reduced rate.
