Public Health: Learn to raise your voice!

MPHA's Policy & Advocacy Committee is planning a meet-up on Monday, December 10th, 5 pm at Bad Weather Brewery in Saint Paul.

Come to this MPHA event to learn the difference between legislative education and lobbying, practice the skills involved in each, and to network with other potential public health advocates.

Ellie Beaver and Emily Myatt from the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network will provide a brief training on the difference between legislative advocacy and lobbying and give you an opportunity to practice your communication skills before the Legislature convenes in January. There will also be ample time to meet and network with other local public health folks. Register today - space is limited!

Please contact Annie or Laura at policy@mpha.net with questions.
