A longtime implementer of a Community Health Worker (CHW) model, WellShare International has developed new ways of leveraging the skills and power of the role to improve community health. In the second part of MPHA's series on CHWS, we will learn about a CHW Hub in Mankato that works in partnership with clinical and community partners to meet the needs of immigrants and refugees in the region. Evan Curtin, Director of Mankato Office, will share the ways their program has responded to community needs, lessons learned, and opportunities for the future. 

This free, virtual event is open to MPHA members and anyone interested in learning more about how CHWs are playing an essential role in addressing health equity in Minnesota.
