Minnesotans for a Smoke-Free Generation will be hosting a Day at the Capitol on Tuesday, March 5. The in-person event will start at the Minnesota History Center off at the kick-off and training before heading to meetings with lawmakers later in the day.

Everything that you need to have successful lawmaker meetings will be provided to you, including training. Don’t worry, you don’t have to become a policy expert—what matters most is your voice and passion!

The event will focus on ending the sale of all flavored commercial tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, hookah, and all the products in between. We know that Big Tobacco has used flavored products to target Minnesota kids, African Americans, American Indians, the LBGTQ+ community, and countless others. We know that this policy would help prevent folks from ever starting to use tobacco products and help prevent more Minnesotans from hearing the words “you have cancer”.
