Health Communications Campaigns

We are excited to welcome St. Catherine MPH students enrolled in the Spring 2024 Health Communications course led by Susi Keefe Ph.D. to our Health Equity Committee meeting May 16th. The MPH students will be covering the MPHA annual conference and creating Health Communication Campaigns in response to the session/panel/keynote presentation they observe. Their assignment explicitly asks them to use a health equity and social justice lens and to create at least one TikTok/Reel in response to what they learn. As part of their final in the course we will screen their Reel assignments at the Health Equity Committee meeting.

MPHA Health Equity Committee meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of the month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Currently all meetings are virtual. Meetings are open to MPHA members and non-members who want to learn more and take action on advancing health equity in Minnesota.
