"What is the difference between lobbying & advocacy?" "How can I share my expertise and opinions on public health issues?" "Can I do that, based on my type of employer?" Get answers to these questions and more in a special presentation on November 11, 12-1 pm.
Instead of the regular monthly Policy & Advocacy meeting, MPHA and the Minnesota Society for Public Health Education (MN-SOPHE) are hosting a training on Lobbying vs. Advocacy to help public health professionals feel confident in the differences between the two. Please join MPHA's Policy & Advocacy Co-chair, Dr. John Pournoor, and MN-SOPHE Policy Chair, Molly Schmidtke, for this special educational event!
This event will be recorded and available to registrants.
(If you have already registered for the MPHA Policy & Advocacy Committee meeting, you do not need to re-register.)

The MPHA Policy and Advocacy Committee meets the second Tuesday of each month from 12:00 - 1:00 pm CT. Anyone interested is welcome to join. The committee is co-chaired by Matt Flory and Dr. John Pournoor. Learn more about the committee here.
