20 Years of HPV Protection, Prevention, and Progress: Celebrating Policies and Practices Implemented throughout the Heartland

June 2006 marked a turning point in cancer prevention with the licensure of the first HPV vaccine. Twenty years later, the impact of HPV vaccination continues to grow—saving lives and reshaping what’s possible in public health. Join us for 20 Years of HPV Protection, Prevention, and Progress: Celebrating Policies and Practices Implemented throughout the Heartland, a webinar that reflects on two decades of collaboration, innovation, and measurable success across the Midwest.

Designed for immunization coalitions, cancer consortiums, healthcare providers, Departments of Health, advocacy organizations, and public health professionals, this session will highlight how coordinated policies, evidence-based practices, and community partnerships have advanced HPV prevention efforts throughout the region.

Webinar Objectives:

1. Celebrate June 2006 as a public health milestone and the power of community coming together to move HPV prevention forward.

2. Explore the policies and practices that are driving real progress in reducing HPV cancers across the Midwest.

3. Spark advocacy, energize community action, and imagine a future where HPV cancers are a thing of the past.

Whether you are working in immunization, cancer prevention, clinical care, or community advocacy, this webinar will offer valuable insights, renewed energy, and a shared vision for what comes next in HPV cancer prevention.
