Minnesota Public Health Non-Profit Collaborative Lunch and Learn: Public Health Kratom Impacts and Regulation

Kratom is an emerging substance raising new questions and concerns within public health practice. This training is designed to build shared understanding among professionals, partners, and community stakeholders. Participants will learn what kratom is, how it is used, and the potential health risks associated with its consumption. In addition, attendees will gain clarity on current federal, state, and local regulations that govern kratom’s production, sale, and distribution. By the end of the training, participants will be better equipped to recognize the public health implications of kratom and to engage in informed conversations and decision‑making within their communities.

This session will be recorded and shared as an ongoing resource with attendees and members of the listed associations. A certificate of attendance indicating continuing education contact hours will be shared with those that attend live.
