Unfortunately the forecasted 30-40 degree temperatures for Saturday morning do not look conducive to writing outside, so we are canceling this event.

Join MPHA President Ellen Saliares for a letter writing party to encourage people to vote. We'll be participating in the letter writing campaign with Vote Forward, which has sent millions of letters across the country to voters. We'll have all the letter writing materials as well as some coffee and pastries. Burnes Park has a big playground, so feel free to bring your kids with.

October weather can be challenging to predict, so please dress accordingly. In the event of storms or snow, the event will be cancelled (there's only so much a picnic shelter can do!).
